PPTX.ai vs
Slido

Slido adds questions to a presentation you make somewhere else, and its Q&A is among the best there is. PPTX.ai is the presentation: it writes the slides and the questions together, and runs both in the room.

Slido · Cisco
Audience Q&A, polls and quizzes for meetings and events, used alongside your slides.
PPTX.ai
Writes your slides, polls and quizzes together, then runs them live while the room answers on their phones.

01 / The short answer

Which one is for you?

Choose Slido if

  • Audience Q&A is the main thing you need, especially with moderation at a large event.
  • Your company already presents in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Webex.
  • You want people to answer without signing in.

Choose PPTX.ai if

  • You don’t have slides yet, and want them written and designed with the questions in place.
  • You want one tool for the slides and the room, not two.
  • You want quizzes with a leaderboard, and many questions in one talk without a plan limit.

02 / The same talk, made two ways

A talk with a poll
and a quiz in it.

Here is how you would put one together in each.

With Slido

  1. Make your slidesIn PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  2. Add SlidoWrite polls in Slido, or let Slido AI suggest some, then add them with the add-in.
  3. Present itPeople join with a code at slido.com or a QR code.

With PPTX.ai

  1. Describe it, or attach a PDFOne request covers the slides, the polls and the quiz.
  2. Change what you likeEdit a slide yourself, or ask the assistant. Describe the look you want.
  3. Present itThe room scans a QR code and answers on their phones. You reveal the results.

03 / In the room

One deck, not two tools.

With Slido, the slides and the questions live in different places. In PPTX.ai the poll is just the next slide, in the same design.

These are real PPTX.ai slides: the big screen behind you, and a phone in the audience.

Example: the poll “Which shift would you pick?” filling in on the big screen as people answer on their phones.

06 / Questions

People also ask.

Is PPTX.ai a Slido alternative?

For polls and quizzes, yes. If Q&A is what you need most, Slido does that and PPTX.ai doesn’t. The bigger difference is that PPTX.ai makes the slides too, so you don’t build the talk in one tool and the questions in another.

Can I use PPTX.ai inside PowerPoint?

No. PPTX.ai doesn’t have an add-in and doesn’t make PowerPoint files. You build the presentation and present it from your browser, and the audience follows on their phones.

Does PPTX.ai limit how many polls I can use?

No. A poll or quiz is just another item in your presentation. Credits pay for the assistant’s writing, not for questions or for people answering them.
